Since the start of the pandemic, CAP has continued delivering services safely thanks to the support of our community. Knowing that cancer does not take a break, and that cancer patients and families require our support more than ever, we found new ways to serve our clients. With no sustainable government funding, CAP relies greatly on the generous support of community and proceeds raised from signature events held throughout the year. One of CAP’s largest signature fundraisers is our annual Gala, which is going VIRTUAL for the second time!
To keep our community safe and healthy, we are bringing the event to you, to be enjoyed from the comfort of home with friends and loved ones. Using your preferred device, you’ll be able to tune in for remarks and entertainment, bid on silent auction items, purchase mystery envelopes, learn about CAP's impact throughout the pandemic, and contribute to ensuring we can continue to be there for cancer patients during this challenging time. We've also curated VIP Experience Bundles that can be purchased in advance for pick up or local doorstep delivery - gourmet soups, fresh bread, cocktails, snacks, dessert and more to help make your night extra special.
While we can't come together in person this year, we hope you will join us November 18th from 7:00 - 8:00 pm (EST) virtually for a memorable evening where proceeds provide cancer patients in our community with help when it is needed most. There is no cost to watch, but any support you can provide is appreciated more than ever.
If you have any questions, please contact Ashlee at aleggett@cancerassist.ca or 905-383-9797 ext. 107.
